Effective date: 3 June 2026 · Last updated: 3 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website vidai.sbs and the purchase and use of the ViDAI cryptocurrency hardware wallet ("Product"), offered by Scott Christopher Johnson ("we", "us", "our"). By using our site or buying our Product, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Product and what it is not

ViDAI is a non-custodial hardware wallet — a physical device for generating and storing cryptographic keys offline. We do not operate an exchange, brokerage, money transmission, custody, lending, staking, or investment service. We do not buy, sell, swap, trade, hold, or manage crypto-assets on your behalf, and we do not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for ensuring that purchasing and using the Product is lawful in your jurisdiction.

3. Self-custody and your responsibilities

4. Orders, pricing, and payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices, taxes, and shipping fees are shown at checkout and may change. Payment is handled by third-party processors; you agree to their terms when paying.

5. Shipping, returns, and warranty

Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy. Returns, refunds, and the hardware warranty are governed by our Refunds & Warranty Policy. For security reasons, devices that show signs of tampering or use may not be eligible for return.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Product or site for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or sanctions evasion, or in violation of applicable laws.

7. Intellectual property

All content on vidai.sbs, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.

8. Disclaimers

The site and Product are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Crypto-assets are volatile and risky; see our Risk Disclosure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of crypto-assets resulting from your loss of keys, recovery phrase, or PIN, or for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including statutory consumer rights.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Product or site.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
